A Superb Holiday Apartment with Stunning Views in Kas, Turkey
General
The apartment offers the best of both worlds. Both Gokseki beach and Kas are easily reached by dolmus (local mini bus) which runs frequently and stops very close to the apartment. The Village has 2 general stores and an internet café.
Gokseki beach is a very clean, well maintained beach, managed by students from the local tourism college. It has a reasonably priced café, sunbeds, swimming platforms and a children’s park.
Kas is a charming and vibrant tourist town offering a good range of restaurants, bars, cafes and shopping facilities. Kas has several well stocked supermarkets, modern banks and English speaking doctors etc.
The apartment is on one level with 2 double bedrooms and a third bedroom with bunk beds and a single bed. All the bedrooms are air-conditioned. It has a large airy open plan kitchen and dining room and a separate spacious lounge. There are balconies from the kitchen/dining room, the lounge and both double bedrooms.
All offer spectacular views of the mountains and the sea. Entry to the apartment is via a private door at ground level. There are newly landscaped gardens and outside parking is available.

Bedroom 1 with double bed and wardrobe. Marble topped vanity unit with wash hand basin with pine drawer unit. Access to balcony with table and chairs.
Bedroom 2 with double bed, double sofa bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers. Ensuite bathroom with shower unit. Access to balcony with table and chairs.
Bedroom 3 with pine bunk beds and matching chest of drawers. There are hooks for hanging clothes.
Bathroom:
Spacious bathroom with shower, bath, wc and wash hand basin unit with washing machine underneath.
Kitchen/dining room:
Large fridge/freezer, electric cooker, hobs, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and many cooking utensils. Plates, cutlery etc.
Large dining table and 6 chairs. Comfy sofa.
Door giving access to balcony and BBQ area.
Living Room:
Comfortable large 3 seater sofa, 2 seater sofa and 2 armchairs. 72cm TV/ DVD & CD player. Door giving access to large balcony.

The apartment is newly refurbished and fitted with air conditioning units in the bedrooms, which also supply heating as required during the winter months. For the comfort of other guests, we ask smokers to use the balconies.

As the property is on the 1st floor there is only a few steps up to the entrance dooe and no internal stairs. However, due to exterior steps the property is inaccessible for wheelchairs.
Linen and towels are provided (including beach towels). Included in the price is cleaning before arrival and after departure only. Property can be cleaned upon request but there would be an additional charge.

Gokseki Beach is situated at the bottom of the hill leading down from the village. It is a very clean, well maintained beach, managed by students from the local tourism college. It has a reasonably priced café, sunbeds, swimming platforms and a children’s park. The beach is easily reached by the frequent dolmus (mini bus) which leaves from near the apartment. Other beaches may be reached by water taxis that leave Kas harbour regularly for the 10 min journey across the bay. Alternatively you can visit the dramatic sandy gorge of Kaputas 20 mins away or the stunning sandy beach of Patara 40 mins away.
Dalaman is the nearest airport with Antalya as a further option. Whilst it is possible to reach Kas from both of these by public transport, most visitors prefer the speed and convenience of private transfer. Local car hire firms offer this service and we can arrange this on your behalf. The average time for transfer is two hours from Dalaman, three from Antalya. Taxies are readily available and the local dolmus (mini bus) runs frequently between Gokseki and Kas.
Kas has it all - it is worlds apart from the overcrowded major tourist resorts!! Kas has retained its old wooden balconied houses, flagstone streets and picturesque harbour with its fishing and tourist boats. The main square beside the harbour has tea gardens, cafes, bars and restaurants in abundance. Leading away from the harbour area is a warren of winding cobbled streets full of colourful shops offering all manner of carpets, ceramics, arts and crafts. There is also a Friday market.
Boat ‘taxis’ leave Kas harbour for the beautiful beach of Limanagzi on the opposite side of Kas Bay (15 mins ride).
The coastline of Kas is said to be one of the best for diving and snorkeling. Other activities available are: sea kayaking, canoeing, trekking, mountain biking, paragliding and scuba-diving. Kas is popular with hikers who walk the 'Lycian Way’ which passes through Kas, on its way from Fethiye to Antalya. This ancient route has been rated one of the worlds top 10 walks, visiting mountain villages, beaches and sarcophagi scattered hillsides as it goes.
In and around Kas there are many historical amphitheatres and tombs to visit. Other Roman and Lycian ruins in the area are only a day trip away. There are many boats offering daily trips to Kekova, a beautiful unspoilt area of natural bays and coves with the ancient sunken Lycian city of Simena. The Greek Island of Meis is a 20 min boat trip away and is a wonderful way to sample the Greek way of life. Patara, the Mediterranean's longest sandy beach (16km) and a protected archaeological site is a 40 min drive away.

Arrival and departure times are flexible depending upon other bookings. You may be asked to leave the property however by 12 noon if another guest is arriving.

Kas town is 6 kilometres from Gokseki - a 10 min ride by dolmus (local mini bus).
